Home Monitoring

when away from your home.
Keep your home warm and secure, whether you are sleeping, at work or
if you own a second home. Our home monitoring system detects heat
loss, burner failure, and low fuel level for 24-hour protection.
How it works
The monitor is installed near your tank and connects to your home
phone line. Just like a security alarm, it calls us to let us know if
there is a problem. Sensing devices routinely check your home's heat
sources and provide Kosco with needed information.
A Temperature Sensor detects any dramatic drop in indoor temperature.
If the temperature drops, a "no heat" message is sent to Kosco.
An Oil Burner Sensor sends us a "burner failure" when your
burner locks out and fails to operate.
A Fuel Sensor is attached to your tank and if the fuel level falls
below a preset mark, our office is notified with a "deliver"
message.
The Home Comfort Monitor is about the size of a smoke detector and
requires no action on your part. It runs on battery, so a power
outage is no problem (it even tells us if the battery is low).
