equipment generates approximately 140,000 BTU’s per gallon
Propane is a more efficient (93,000 BTU’s per gallon) and clean
burning fuel source. The greater efficiency has a lot to do with the
efficient venting options available for propane equipment.
Propane is sold by consumption, so the more you use the cheaper your
rate will be. In today’s market propane customers will pay about
the same price per gallon as heating oil customers.
