Water Conditioning
From "point-of-use" to commercial applications, Kosco is

Water Softeners: We use only the best high capacity resin available
in our water softeners, whether residential or commercial.
We offer systems capable of handling capacities from 12,500 grains to
1,200,000 grains and all are available either demand
"metered" or timed regeneration. Larger industrial sizes

Iron Filters: When removal of iron is a must, we offer many
different systems to choose from. For red water iron with a pH of 7
or higher, we offer either Birm or Manganese Greensand as the
oxidizing media. When combating many problems such a s low pH,
sediment and iron, our Aerobic Iron Removal Systems with a mixed
media and air injection is a reliable choice. When both iron and
hardness are present, the Ironsoft, our fine mesh resin systems are a
popular choice.
Acid Neutralizers: Blue green staining is an automatic red
flag for a low pH. Our neutralizers, utilizing calcite will bring a
low pH of 6 or higher to a neutral 7. (For a pH lower than 6 a
chemical feed pump may better suit your needs.) All neutralizers are
available in either upflow, manual or automatic backwash and can be
customized with a dome refill and bottom drain.
Ultraviolet Purifiers: Nothing beats our ultraviolet purifiers
for "chemical free" removal of bacteria in clean clear
water. Choose from either standard or fail safe systems ranging from
7 gpm to 60 gpm.
Reverse Osmosis Systems: For better than bottled quality water
look no further than under your sink when you install one of our
NSF® Certified Reverse Osmosis systems. Our systems come complete
with a T.F.C. (Thin Film Composite) membrane to produce better water
at a faster rate, a water storage vessel, chrome plated brass faucet
with air gap module and everything necessary for complete
installation. (Designer color faucets are available as special order.

Sediment & Turbidity Filters: To remove dirt and sediment
from your incoming water supply, our sediment and turbidity filters
using filter ag as the filtering media is a reliable choice. For
point-of-use installations we offer both sediment and carbon
cartridges in many sizes to handle various flow rates.
Color, Taste and Odor: The most common complaint with
municipal water is the chlorine taste and odor. Activated carbon is
the most efficient method to eliminate unwanted color, tastes and
odors. We also offer specialty carbons for the removal of hydrogen
sulfide and volatile organic contaminants. Unlike most filters,
carbon does not need to be regenerated or backflushed unless there is
sediment or iron present in the water.
Chemical Feed Pumps: To inject chlorine for purifying when
bacteria is present and/or soda ash for the correction of a low pH.
Available in many sizes for 24 hour correction in both residential
and commercial sizes.
